ECONOMY OF JOINT CONSUMPTION AND DIGITAL SOCIETY DEVELOPMENT: CONCEPTUAL DISCOURSE

The dynamic development of digital economy determines the urgency of digital society development under the influence of the economy of joint consumption. In the article, the authors explore the essential characteristics of the conceptual discourse of the relationship between the economy of joint consumption and digital society development. A promising method for solution of this problem is to use institutional approach to the study of modern digital society trends. Digital economy is not only the basis for creating new business models and qualitative digital changes in the business models, but it also affects the fundamental basis of new digital civilization. The development of joint consumption has a significant impact on the development of the digital society through the influence of a set of functions of social and economic institutions that leads to the transformation of social and economic institutions. The institutions development leads to reduction of transactional costs, which is undoubtedly a significant effect of the digital economy development.Downloads
