GREEN BONDS: RUSSIAN AND INTERNATIONAL EXPERIENCE

“Green economy is an innovative direction formed in the beginning of the third Millennium. It considers the economy to be an integral part of the environment and natural resources of the planet. “Green finance is the main factor for implementing projects aimed at environment and its natural resources protection. World practice shows that since 2007, “green finance sector has been formed on the global financial market and is successfully developing. One of the main financial instruments influencing the sustainable development of the green economy is "green" bonds (GreenBonds). The paper describes Russian experience of issuing "green" bonds and provides data on implementation of "green" financial instruments from foreign research companies.Downloads
