CHINESE INITIATIVE "ONE BELT - ONE ROAD" AS STRATEGY OF EURASIA ECONOMIC CONQUEST

In 2013 China decided to restore the historical Silk Road. The initiative was called “One Belt - One Road”. Its aim is to develop international trade between Europe and China and to promote development of world infrastructure in Eurasia. But such concept has turned to be favourable not to all countries in the region. The initiative of Chinese leadership acts as more geopolitical instrument, than economic activity of China foreign policy. The Peoples Republic of China demonstrates the desire of economic expansion in the countries of the Central Asia (ЦА), Turkey and others by this project. The article is devoted to the analysis of the basic actions of China in realization of the plan, its possible results and the role of other world powers in a new Silk Road.Downloads
