POPULATION HEALTH AS AN ECONOMIC CATEGORY

Abstract

In the article human health is considered as the major aspect of economic well-being of the state. Health as the priority property of labour resources influences social and economic growth and is a determinative of economic development of the country together with such qualitative characteristics of labour as qualification and education. Proceeding from this fact, it is extremely actual to consider human health as a social and economic category and take into account its influence on various kinds of production, general condition of national economy and its interrelation with them.
