MANAGEMENT SCIENCE: THE MAIN SCHOOLS

Abstract

One of the approaches to the problem of social management, the so-called “schools”, is considered in the article. They are: the school of scientific management, administrative/classical school, and the school of human relations. The author comes to the conclusion, that, on the one hand, each of the above mentioned schools has made a certain contribution to the development of administrative science. On the other hand, the approach of the “schools” is closely connected with process, system, situational and quantitative approaches, has “intersections” with the latest various aspects of researches, but it is independent.
