FEATURES OF FRENCH CHEESES QUALITY AND PRODUCTOPN PROSPECTS IN RUSSIA

Abstract

In comparison with the accepted consumption norm there is notable deficiency of these products in Russia which is partially replaced with import. At present many Russian cheese makers increase processing volumes and output. French cheeses are considered to be one of the most popular and known cheeses in the world. They are also popular in Russia. Can Russian cheese makers replace French cheeses which disappeared from counters of trade enterprises? Russian manufacturers have the prospects of French cheeses production, basically blue cheeses. Some large cheese makers have already mastered the “know-how”. Farms are also starting to produce special cheeses. According to domestic cheese makers, state support is necessary to solve this problem.
