IT AUDIT AS THE BASIS OF EFFECTIVE BUSINESS FUNCTIONING

Abstract

The present information systems (IS) are a complex set of correlated hardware-software means, having its definitive purpose to transfer the processed information accepted from information sources in the course of dataprocessing and accumulation to clients. Exact construction of modern IS is a difficult technical problem from which correct performance of key activities of all complex of information infrastructure of the company depend on. The purpose of IT auditing ofIS is the analysis of available information systemcondition, detection of its drawbacks and working out of measures aimed atinteraction improvement of all components of the system.
