Abstract

The concepts of “effectiveness” and “efficiency" are described in the article. Short characteristic of current state of food-processing industry is given. The results of the analysis of effectiveness and efficiency indicators of the enterprise financial and economic activity on the example of the dairy branch subject of food-processing industry are presented. Spearman rank correlation coefficient is considered as generalizing criterion of the efficiency of enterprise activity in the market, allowing to estimate degree of relationship between the purposes of the enterprise and its strategy.
