Abstract

The article seeks to examine the possibility of using a probabilistic approach for the assessment of intellectual assets of the enterprise. Using the classical definition of probability of a random event, the meaning of intellectual potential of the company is disclosed. Besides, there is an opportunity to define it on the basis of coefficients which reflect the appearance probability of intellectual product that can increase the cost of intangible assets.
