Problems and Prospects of Russian-Vietnamese Entrepreneurship Cooperation

Abstract

Business relations development between Russia and Vietnam is of particular importance under conditions of the implementation of the Russian policy "Turn to the East" and strengthening of strategic partnership. However, there are barriers to effective cooperation, including cultural differences, legal difficulties, and limited infrastructure for business interaction. The purpose of the research is to identify the problems and prospects for strengthening and development of new approaches in Russian-Vietnamese business relations. The work uses integrated approach, including method of observation based on the author's personal experience as an interpretor at international events, in-depth interviews with entrepreneurs from both countries, systematic analysis of scientific literature and regulatory documents, and statistical analysis for assessment of entrepreneurial activity trends. The FISH framework tool was used to process interview data. The study revealed that Russian and Vietnamese entrepreneurs face a number of challenges, from language and cultural barriers to logistical and administrative difficulties. At the same time, they are united by the problems inherent in the entrepreneurs of the two countries, which require joint solution. The analysis of Russian-Vietnamese business has shown that business communication platforms and technology development can improve communication and competitiveness. The study reveals the problems and suggests new approaches to stimulate business activity and strengthen relationships. Joint development of innovative programs is a promising area in tourism. This is the first step towards identifying the problems and prospects of cooperation, contributing to strengthening of friendly relations and positions of Russian and Vietnamese entrepreneurs.
