GREEN" COMPUTING

Abstract

In the modern world people are more and more anxious about environment problem. Many electronics users do not think that any operations connected with it, cause emissions of carbonic acid to atmosphere, air deionization and consumption of huge power resources. In the article the sources and modern tendencies of “green” computing development, transition to ecological lifestyle - green information systems (Green IT), and the necessity of reduction of global consumption of power resources by computing systems are presented.
